Ohio Town Official Sentenced For Theft From Concert Association
BRYAN, OH (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — John Opdycke, a former traffic manager for the city of Bryan, Ohio, has been sentenced to 60 days in jail, five yaers’ community control, and ordered to repay his theft of $63,000 from the Williams County Community Concert Association.
Opdycke served as the company’s treasurer last winter and spring.
The judge gave Opdycke the sentence request by the county prosecutor who handled the grand theft charge.
Opdycke apologized in court and said he plans to right the wrong. He repaid $10,000 prior to being charged, and will repay an additional $54,000, which includes a $1,250 fee for the concert association’s audit. –by CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
