Justin Timberlakes mom & friends want him to stay with Jessica Biel
Justin Timberlake isn’t going to be able to escape from Jessica Biel’s clutches so easily. Not if she has anything to say about it. And it looks like Jessica’s got back-up too! E! Online is reporting that JT’s mom is all about Jessica. Sort of. When asked what kind of girl her son should go for, Mama Timberlake replied, “The one he’s with now is awesome.” Meanwhile, JT and Jessica haven’t seen each other in a few weeks as Jessica stays busy in Canada and New York (where Jessica is allegedly participating in a Broadway workshop of Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown) while JT parties in LA, Las Vegas and any golf course that will have him. It seems to me like they are definitely taking some time apart, if not completely broken up, but whatever, Mama Timberlake:
Justin Timberlake was swinging solo in Sin City this weekend, but his mom, Lynn Harless, insists he’s not on the market.
When E! News asked what kind of lady she’d like to see her son with, Harless said, “The one he’s with now is awesome.”
We’re assuming she means Jessica Biel, despite the recent breakup chatter.
“He’s found someone that’ll golf with him, give him a hard time when he deserves it and stand up to him,” Lynn continued.
Justin was in Vegas to host a golf tournament and all-star benefit concert for a good cause, Shriners Hospitals for Children, featuring the likes of Alicia Keys, Taylor Swift, Snoop Dogg, Timbaland, TLC, Ciara and Jay Sean.
But he also made plenty of time for partying in Sin City—sans Jessica…

At the same time Mama Timberlake was trying to confirm their relationship, Fox 411 put up a story with a suspiciously similar pro-Jessica bent. Although this one kind of reads like it was manufactured by Jessica’s publicist. According to Fox 411’s “sources”, JT’s friends are totally mad at him for trying to break it off with Jessica. Um… seriously?
It sounds like Justin Timberlake’s friends are on Team Jessica.
Since Timberlake split from longtime girlfriend Jessica Biel, his pals have been less than supportive of his move back to bachelorhood, a source close to his JT’s posse tells Fox411.
“Justin’s friends are usually all about anything he wants, but in this case, his boys are totally disappointed in him,” says the source. “They think he’s making a big mistake by dumping Jess. Justin and Jess have their problems, but all in all, his friends think she is one of the best things that ever happened to him.”
Instead of lending an ear and being there for him the way they usually are, Justin’s friends have pulled a disappearing act. The insider tells Fox411 that Timberlake was looking forward to his friends rolling with his newly single self, but instead they have basically shunned him, refusing to join in his constant partying and chatting up different women every night.
“They really thought he got past all of that,” the source says, “But it’s all beginning all over again. They think if they don’t give in he may come to his senses and get back together with Jessica. That’s what they really want to see happen.”
The source says Timberlake may be on his own for awhile. “It’s a shame his friends can’t just be there for him, but they have their opinions, and they disagree with his choice to dump Jess.”
